Instant Pot® Mulled Cider

A fun, fall treat that is great with both apple cider or wine.

Instant Pot® Mulled Cider Ingredients

  • 2 each oranges

  • 1 gallon apple cider

  • 1 cinnamon stick

  • 6 each whole cloves

  • teaspoon ground allspice

How to Make Instant Pot® Mulled Cider

  1. Remove orange peels with a vegetable peeler or knife. Cut oranges into slices.

  2. Place orange peels and slices in a multi-functional pressure cooker (such as Instant Pot®). Add apple cider, cinnamon stick, cloves, and allspice. Close and lock the lid. Select high pressure according to manufacturers instructions; set timer for 6 minutes. Allow 10 to 15 minutes for pressure to build.

  3. Release pressure using the natural-release method according to manufacturers instructions, 10 to 40 minutes. Unlock and remove the lid. Remove spices and orange peel with a slotted spoon and discard.

  4. Serve mulled cider warm and garnish mugs with orange slices.
